Nov. 26 Road Update - Good News! (and info about Google Map inaccuracies)

Guests of the park are now being waved through the checkpoint without a wait. Inform the flagger where you are going and they will let you pass. Disregard mention of road closures on Google maps. Stay on Hwy 299 all the way even if Google map's Directions show a detour. There is also still no delay coming out of the park. (There may be delays within the closure on weekdays depending on tree removal activity etc.)

Art Cruise - Historic Weaverville - Dec. 4

1st Saturday of every month, the Arts Council hosts an Art Cruise in historic Weaverville that includes from 8 to 15 venues. Our 4 fine art galleries hold their artist’s receptions from 5-8 p.m. providing an opportunity to engage with the artist. Live music often accompanies the one mile stroll. Hayfork Christmas Festival and Parade - Dec. 5th

Hayfork Christmas Festival, including a visit from Santa Claus, Christmas tree lighting, music, caroling, holiday vendors and refreshments in the park at 3 p.m. After that it’s the annual Light Parade at 5:45 p.m.
