National fiddler Clarridge from Burnt Ranch plays live in Weaverville, CA

Hoping we can get her to play at the park one of these days!

Tashina Clarridge, a national fiddler, returns home at 5:30 p.m. today, Jan. 5, to the Trinity County Brewing Company, 301 Main St., Weaverville. Being raised in Burnt Ranch, it’s always nice when she comes by to play some tunes. She has played all over the world, and even performed in Carnegie Hall once. Next month she will perform in Arizona, then Nevada in May, and finally to the national fiddle contest in Weiser, Idaho, for the third week in June. She and her fiddling brother, Tristan, have played everywhere. He has been the national fiddle champion a whopping five times, a record he holds with two other fiddlers. Well ... it can happen again. So come join her, and a few guest guitar players. The Brewery has good food and fine drinks along with some dandy fiddling.
